Lauren Squier, MPH, RD, is a Registered Dietitian, trained chef and owner of Culinary Enlightenment. Lauren's nutrition background and culinary skills provide a unique blend of resources to help people plan meals, shop, cook, and eat better. For more than a decade, she has been teaching nutrition to children, adults and families through healthy cooking and eating.
Lauren brings a unique skill set to clients, classrooms, and kitchens. Through teaching, nutrition counseling, and culinary coaching, Lauren helps clients develop the skills and confidence necessary to make satisfying and nourishing food choices. She promotes lifestyle solutions that are approachable today and doable forever.
Lauren thrived during her undergraduate studies at Cal State Long Beach in Dietetics & Food Administration. Then she completed a Master of Public Health Nutrition and a Dietetic Internship at UC Berkeley. After working several years in nutrition education, she pursued her passion for delicious and healthy food by completing Professional Chef training at Laguna Culinary Arts. A consummate student, Lauren has completed classes in Therapeutic Diets, Integrative & Functional Nutrition, Food Allergies, and Gluten-related Disorders.
